AN OVERLAND JOURNEY. PREPARATIONS FOR HIS SAFETY. By Cable.—Press Associate i~- Copyrigfl Received 21, 0.13 p.m. Loudon, October 21. The Czar travels via Alexandrovo, Poain, Frankfurt, Lyons to Modena, in the north of Italy.
There will be no official reception in Germany or France. The Czar reaches llcrdonncchia on Saturday. Thence many troops will guard the line to Itacconizi, where King Victor Emanuel, with Signor Giolitti (Promicr),and Signor Tittoni (Italian Minis, ter of Foreign Affairs) will aneet him.
The Czar returns via the Crimea on Monday. jji Received 21, 0.15 p.m. Borne, October 21. The Chambers of Ijabor, a Socialist organisation, have abandoned the idea of proclaiming a general strike in connection with the visit.
