WAITARA, (From Our Own Correspondent.) IThe Tikorangi Dairy Factory has sold its output up to 31st March for 10% d. The milk supply at this factory shows a considerable increase over the amount of last year. For September the increase was U,ooolb.
Mr. A. F. Dugdale, chief engineer at the freezing works, recently met with a painful accident, lireuking a small boue in his right arm. Ho was on the top of a ladder in the fellmongery buildings for the purpose of fixing the place for shafting, when the laduer slipped, Mr. Dugdale falling very heavily ou the concrete floor below. Arrangements for the forthcoming St. Patrick''*. Church bazaar are well iu hand, ',.,e ladies being very busy of late in in' dug the necessary preparations. The .azaar opens on the Olh December. An art union is being held in eonnec■uou with, the bazaar. There is every reason to believe that the bazaar will Oe a great success. A committee meeting in connection with the regatta to be held on New Year's Day was held on Monday evening, when a programme was drawn up. It provided a good day's sport. In addition to the eleven rowing events, there are water events, including greasy boom, tub races, water tournament for nun and boys, and swimming races. The first event will start at 11.30 a.m., and the final event at 4.30 p.m. Full paiticulars will be advertised later.
