CRICKET.
The Rovers and Wanderers teams are this season chosen irrespective of residence, and the boundary line between East and West has been abolished. Several practices have been held, and tic teams have now been selected with t-h* view of making the strength of the two elevens as even as' possible, but in so doing last year's sides have been adhered to as far as possible. The Cup fixtures commence on Thursday week, and to-day a match Rovers v. 'Wanderers will be played on the Tukapa ground.
