SPRING HORSE FAIR.
Ifr. Newton King's spring horse fair wa.s held yesterday on the harbor leasehold next to Taltersall's stables. The weather was line, and practically the whole of a very large entry came forward, the total catalogue." comprising 220 animals, as follows:—Draughts ami half-draughts, broken, 02;. draughts and half-draughts, unbroken. 20; hacks and harness horses, broken.' 123: unbroke-i, 1.->. Bidding was keen for animal* t> quality, but the nondescript horseflesh was dull of sale.. Messrs S. W. Shaw and It. Cottier were the auctioneers.
