Your directors have again the pleasure of submitting to you the statement c.f accounts and balance-sheets for tile past year, both groups showing a profit after allowing for all working expenses. During the year fourteen appropriations of i'l-50 have been disposed of ill the first group (eight by b.tllot ami six by sale) and loans to the amount of £2,«17 lia :e been advanced ( £3OO appropriated lint not yet advanced). Ten appropriations of .£l5O in the second group (six by ballot and four by sale) have been disposed of. and loans amounting to LlliSI) 10s have been advanced ( EfiOO appropriated but not yet advanced). The profits of the first group during tin; past year amount to £]J7 7s lid, making a total of .£B4B Is Id, equal to CI Ijs 2d per share; and in the second group, £43 Is ."id. making a total of ,£2li(i Ids 2d. No. I'group: 95 shares appropriated, 108 shares forfeited and withdrawn. No. 2 group: 45 shares' appropriated, 43 shares forfeited and withdrawn. Directorate: No clianges have taken place during the year. You w'.ll be called upon to elect four meinliers of the board, the retiring directors being Messrs. F. P. Corkill, E. Dockrill, .1. Paton and S. W. Shaw, all of whom are eligible and offer'themselves for reelection. You are also called upon to elect an auditor for the ensuing year, Mr. C. T. Mills offers himself for reelection.
