Opourapa Road.—.Mr. Uiihooley waited on the Board and asked for repairs to he effected.—The foreman ,said a man was to attend to it'this 'week.—Jlr. Uiihooley complained 'about the .special rate, as lie thought lie was paying too much.—The clerk explained the position, and Jlr. Uiihooley was satisfied' with the explanation. Te Xniuu Road.—it was decided to put ai man on for two days to atteml to the tmvwL between -Messrs. Humphries and Jliddleton's properties. I'uniho .Road. The W.uilcino Road Hoard wrote, through their solicitor, asking for «■ ttatcanen't of accounts ot the I'unilio (boundary) d'oad.—The clerk said tilu'ic is a, credit of Juao 13s on the joint loan ,account.—Jlr. Jones suggested the balance being spent on new work ■>n th« road. Kahui Road.—The manager of the Sawmilliug Company wrote confirming the premise to 'bear the eKpeiise of a horse land dray for a week in ax-pairing Jie road—Acknowledged with thanks. Jlanihi Road.—C. O'Brit'n, \V. lluinplii-iiw/r. llarniaiu, and 1). o'Sullivan waited on the BoaJ'd with .reference 'to a loan of ,C7.)U for metalling 111 chains ami culverting and draining another BU chains. Jlr. (TSullivan'was against being included in tihc loan; the Others were agreeable.—Unsolved, that, the Hoard proceed .with the petition to get the loan. Arawhata Eoad.-T. Bishop waited on the Board, tumplaining tiiat the wood on the road, was being used, fie claimed it as hie, as lie paid £5 for it two years ago—Resolved, that 'Jlr. liartle, who is using the timber, be informed that it .belongs to- Bishop. Ivina Road.—lt was decided to attend to the holes on the Kina. road. Ranger.—As'the ranger is not attending to his duties, he is 'to be written to uhout it. If he does not intend to look after his duties, the fortnau is to make temporary arrangements until next meeting. Rates.—The clerk .was instructed to sue for all outstanding rate's. Accounts amounting to £154 were passed for payment.
