By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, October 14. A conference of delegates of the Society for the Promotion of the Heatt'. of Women and Children was' opened today. The chairman, Dr. Truby King, in his inaugural address, explained tint 'this association was really a health society. Its object was to induce mothers to conform as closely as possible to Nature's laws in the care of themselves and their children. The aid of the Plnnket Nurses, he said, was now being largely Invoked. The congress is not open to the press.
