N.Z. UNION AND WHEELMEN I LEAGUE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchureh. Last Night. The main features of the agreement between the New Zealand Athletic Union and the League of New Zealand Wheelmen arrived at by representatives of those bodies in this city, are vesting the control of cycling in the League and of athletics in the Union, each body .to issue permits to bodies affiliated who desire to include cycling or athletic events in their sports programmes and the maintenance, upholding and endorsements of suspensions and discjnaliiications of one body by the other. The Union recommends clubs afiiliated to centres to approve of the agreement for twelve months, but to be inoperative till Wanganui and Southland Caledonian Societies have become affiliated to the Union.
