A WORLD'S RECORD. By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyrig~.it Sydney. October 14. It is claimed that the number of possibles in the King's Match constitutes a world's record. The shooting in ail events has been exceptionally good, with a very high average of possibles. Besides the lirst stage of the King's Match, the Sargood Rifle Club Match was put through, Parramatta winning with 280 out of a possible 300, the Australian Rifles following one point behind and three other teams two points behind.

Sydney, October 14. A gi-.iriiig liirht and lishtail wind proved disastrous to many competitors. Skinner (Victoria) won. the second stage of the King's Hatch with 37. Seven possibles were scored at Ihe (ill!) yard- range. The Now 'Zealand leading scons were Munro anil lladliold 02 and Jsiues lil. fn the aggregates for the first two stages Howitt is still leading with 168, Munro is eleventh with 102, James and Hadfield twelfth with llil each, Duncan being 158.
