A petition from English pressmen an.l others was telegraphed to King Alfonso, Ferrier's daughter in Paris interviewed 11. Hriand (the Premier) and tcjegrapiied King Alfonso pleading for clemency. The newspaper Tribuna (Rome) gtatss that the Pope. is urging King Alfonso to revoke the sentence.
