THE COMMERCIAL DELEGATES.
ARRIVAL AT Th£ BLUFF. ily Telegraph.—Preßs Association. Invercargill, Monday. The commerce delegates arrived bv the Moeraki after a pleasant passage. Mr. Mark Cohen, on behalf of the Government, welcomed the visitors, to whom the Westport Chamber of Commerce telegraphed through the Premieexpressing the hope that thev would visit the West Coast. The invitation was reluctantly declined owing to want of time. The party divided at Invercargill, 28 going to the Lakes and 10 (o Dunedin. Their tour of the Dominion will extend over a fortnight. Tli>«e days will be spent in the Lake district. The party laves for Svdnev on October 25. " '
Invercargill, Last Night. The Imperial commerce delegates were officially welcomed and taken in 14 motor cars round the neighboring country and subsequentlv entertained at luncheon in the Town Hall, where cordial speeches were made. The party then went by special train to the Lake/; others going on to Dunedin.
