AN IMPORTANT RULING. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. Mr. H. W. Northcroft, S.M., has given an importunt judgment on the question raised under "The Gaining Act, 1908," as to the right of proprietors of billiard sa!oon6 to allow players to be constantly ploying games for money. Mr. Northcroft has held that rooms "where the frequent playing of games for money or money's worth takes place arc "gaming houses" under the Act.
