GERMANS ARRESTED IX FKANC&. Dy Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright Paris, October 5. The liheiiiw police captured seven men and three women who are allend to be ]»id agents of the Berlin War Office. Large quantities of correspondence have been seized by the police, who believe the gang to lie part of a larger organisation directed by Xierman agents in Paris.
It was reported recently in Paris that documents relating to mobilisation *>f tbe French army were missing from headquarters in Chalons. General Durand declared that the district swarmed with German spies dU]ruined as laborers, tramps, and trade assistants, and that German women - were continually crossing the frontier. General Durand said that whenever he had gone on a tour of inspection another motor ear had followed with German officers.
