NORSE PARADE.
In our report of the Taranaki Agricultural Society's .annual horse parage held on Saturday last, particulars of one of the Clydesdale stallions paraded were* inadvertently omitted. This was Glen Roy, formerly owned by Mr. 11. Purdie, of Waitara, and recently pu,--chased by Messrs Songster and Pcrrott, of Waitara. Glen Roy was bred by Mr. Alexander, late, of Xormanby, and is a rich bay in color, possessing any quantity of the right class of bone and hair. He is well-ribbed up and has a great shoulder and powerful loins and quartern Glen Roy was sired by that ma»-
; nificent sire, Glcngyle, a horse that perf haps did more to ijnprove the Clydesdale breed in Taranalti than any other iifc. Glen Roy ig to be at the service of breeders in tlie Waitara and surrounding districts.
