PTOMAINE POISONING.
A GIRL SUCCUMBS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, October 4. Medical evidence in regard to the death of the eight-year-old daughter of Frederick W. Lecsc was to the effect that death was caused by an irritant poison. Deceased ate a lot of preserved pineapple. Two other children ate a smaller quantity and all were very il). A grocer said many people thought they were suffering rom ptomaine poisoning when really they were suffering from bacterial poisoning.
