QUEENSLAND IMMIGRATION.
FROM GERMANY. i. By Cable.—Press Association.— CopyrigM London, September 28. The Standard's Berlin correspondent states that 13U German families, «omprising 500 persons, are starting in a fortnight for Queensland, where they will receive from the Government certain concessions, provided they remain at least a year. It is stated that a Berlin emigration agency receives £5 for every man, C 3 for every woman, and C2 for every child. Received September 30, 12.5 a.m. London, September 20. The (.iiieensland agency explains that the Berlin agent was unreimineratcd. He was merely a voluntary worker who represented 1(10 nominated emigrants.
