By Telegraph,—Press Association. Wellington, .September 27. A six-roomed house at llataitai, owned by Mrs. Brightwclf and occupied by herself and husband* was burnt on Saturday evening. The supposed cairn of the outbreak was a lighted match being thrown down inadvertently jiwt before -Mr. and -Mrs. Brightwell left the house. The house was insured for £OOO in the Phoenix office and the furniture for .CltfO in the Royal. A house adjoining, owned by Mrs. Louisa Pric e and occupied by Mr. dames Barberry, was rather severely damaged.
