He confessed that they had been responsible for all the recent fires except one. O'Sullivan also admitted complicity in the file raising. FHILDING, Sept, 25. An eight-roomed house nt Rewa, owned and occupied by Arthur Green, a farmer, was totally destroyed by Arc last night, HASTINGS, Sept. 25. j A five-roomed cottage owned hy Mr. •T. K. Merrick and occupied by A. T. Devonport, was destroyed hy fire. The insurances total £350. iMr. Devonport lost hW stock of patent medicines, which were uninsured and valued at £2OO.
