AN UPWARD TENDENCY. The telegraph business of the Dominion for August *ast shows a substantial increase as compared with the figures for the corresponding month of last year: Telegrams. For the purposes of comparison it should tie noted that the increased business usually obtained during the Parliamentary session, and forming part of the revenue for August, 1008, is shown, but ■.*•■ .w "■« I" 6 * month, so the figures arc all the more satisfactory.
