AMERICAN WHEAT. I Loudon, September 22. The American visible supply of wheat is 23,538,000 bushels. WEBSTER BROS.' REPORT. Meat.—On Saturday morning we had a larger consignment of beef and nniiton than previous weeks. There was a good attendance of the public, and every lot was sold readily at the following prices:—Beef: Rib 3d to 3'/ 2 d, sirloin 4d to 4'/ 2 d, round 3d to 4d, brisket l'/jd to 2d, roast 2d to 3'/ a d. Mutton: Forequarter 3d to S'/jjd, loin 4d, to J'/ S d. leg 4'/ 2 d to od, rabbits Is 3d to Is 5d pais small Is pair. Furniture.—On Wednesday we held a clearing sale on account of the relatives of the late Mr. J. 0. George in Vivianstreet,, when there was a large attendance of the public and everything wis sold at prices satisfactory to the vciI dors.

Fruit.—This has been in -small supply, awaiting the arrival of new shipment of oraaiges from the Islands, due here on Monday next'. L. A. NOLAN & CO.'S REPORT. Poultry.— On Saturday wu had our usual supply. The liii'ds were in good condition, and commanded a ready s:v.e at high rates. We quote: Hens 2s to 2s 4d, pullets 2s 3d to 2s lOd, cockerels 2s 2d, to 2s Cd, roosters 2s to 2s 3d, ducks 2s 2d to 2s 3d. A line of six-weeks-old ducklings realised 2s Id each, and a brood of ducklings 7s Cd. Fanners having poultry to dispose of would do well to take advantage of the high ratee ruling at present. . In the mart, shrubs, pot plants, and fruit trees sold well. Furniture realised good prices. Fruit.—This has been in small supply. We quote: Tasmanian Sturmers' lis to lis Od, Nelson Washington* 8s to fls Cd, lemons 9s, bananas 10s 3d to lis.
