A BETTER SELECTION. By CaMe.—Press Association.— Copyrigs* London, Septeihber 22. A better selection was offered at the wool sales to-day, and prices were maintained for all crossbreds. There was spirited competition in all sections.

A GENERAL ADVANCE. Received 23, 9.5 p.m. London. September 23. A capital selection of merinos and greasies was offered today. Prices showed a, general advance of 10 per cent., and best scoured T/ 2 per cent. The sales included the following NewZealand clips:—"Kura." 7%d; "Opouti." 7%d; "Granville," 7>/ B d. \ Received 24, 1 a.m. Adelaide, September 21. At the opening wool sales there was strong competition. Prices for all good wool were 30 per cent above those of last year's opening sales. Super combings sold- to 13y 4 d, and scoureds to Is 9>/ 3 d.
