NO. 3 BORE. The Taranaki Company hopes to resume operations at No. 3 bore oil Thursday.
THE MOKAU .FIELD.
The Minister of Mines, the Hon. !(. McKenzie, has sent the following eomjmunication to Mr. Jennings, M.l'.:—"l have to acknowledge the receipt of your 'etter forwarding one you have received from Mr. T. Furlong, of the InglewoodMokau Oil Company, asking that Dr. Bell, when he visits New Plymouth, should also (go to Mokau. In reply I may inform you that I will instruct Dr. Bell to examine the locality referred to when he is in the Taranaki district."
