PEARY'S DASH.
OLD CAMPS DISCOVERED. FEAST OFF ABANDONED PROVISIONS. Received 20, 11.55 p.m. • London, September 20. Professor MacMillan states that Commander Peary, in his dash for the I'olj. re-discovered his (Peary's) eamp of 1900 and 1906 in latitude 83. The tent was still standing. Professor MacMillan found the camp of the Greely expedition in latitude SI. The party dined' off potatoes, rhubarb and tea abandoned a quarter of a century ago. Borup, photographer of the expedition, .states that the conditions were unusually favorable. It was a picnic Irom beginning to end compared with previous expeditions.
