Newton, Crown Licensee at Marion, Prince Edward Islands, in the Indian Ocean, states it is common knowledge among Cape seafarers that wjialers and other ships often drift to these islands, and that searchers for the Waratali ought to visit .them. TRAWLERS ON THE LOOK-OUT. Received 17, 0.35 p.m. London, September 17. Marion. Prince Edward Island, in the Indian Ocean, is at present inhabited by sealers. Trawlers sent to Marion with stores wire instructed to search for tfie Waratali. STILL NO SIGN. Sydney, September 17. Several steamers, recently from South Africa, all report having kept a sharp look-out for the Waratali, but saw no sign of her.
