BRITAIN IN EGYPT.
NATIVES PROTECT AGAINST OCCUPATION. By Cable.—PreßS Association.—Copyright Received 15, 11 p.m. London, September 15. An orderly demonstration of several thousands in Cairo telegraphed to Mr. H. H. Asquith (British Premier) protesting against the British occupation of Egypt and derlaring that Egyptians relied on the engagements and solemn oaths of Queen Victoria's Governments. The telegram added: "To gain our friendship is more preferable for English honor than to lose our liear.s and support." Another telegram was scut to llilnii Pasha, the Grand Vizier of Turkey.
