A HOPEFUL VIEW. By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright Melbourne, September 15. The manager for Messrs Gibbes and Bright is very hopeful that the Port Caroline has picked up the Waratah. THE HOPE DISPELLED. Received 10, 1.30 a.m. Adelaide, September 15. The hope that the Port Caroline fell in with the Waratah is dispelled by the Caroline being sighted off Cape Borda alone.
