NGAMOTU CHAMPIONSHIP. J. Paton has this year won the Ngamotu men's senior championship. Ee drew a bye in the first round, beat A. Standish 5 up and i to play in the second round, H. H, Ward 4 up and 3 to play in the third round, W, C, Weston 8 up and 6 to play in the semifinal, and on Thursday afternoon crowned his triumph by defeating A. Bewley 5 up and 4 to play. This/ afternoon the competition will be for the St. Andrew's Cross only, the first round of the committee's trophy commencing next Saturday, All players are requested by the committee to put in their cards with full scores this afternoon and during next week.
