THE RABBIT INDUSTRY. Duncdin, Friday. The rabbit industry during the winter assumed remarkable dimensions 'Britiwcen six and seven hundred thousand skins were purchased weekly, representing close on £4OOO. As much as 2* lOd was paid for prime 'doe skins. The increase is due more to be'tter prices than an increase of rabbits. It is estimated that the trappers earn over £1 a day.
