MYSTERIOUS DISAPPEARANCE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Napier, Last Night. 'A balf-custe girl named Harriet Sutherland, who was staying with friends at Frascrtown, disappeared from there at the beginning of January. Rumors have been in circulation amongst .natives to the effect that there is something underlying the case. . Police enquiries hove so far been without result, and with a view of endeavoring to clear the matter up Detective Hill-left this morning for Wairoa.
