HOCKEY.
Dy Telegraph.—Press Association, invercurgill, Last Night. The first representative hocket mat/h between Wunganui and Southland was played 'here, this afternoon, and resulted in a draw (one goal each). There were about 500 spectators. The ground was somewhat heavy and the weather occasionally drizzling, though :iot at 'ill .unpleasant. The game was largely a contest between the Southland forwards and the Wanganui backs. Southland were good in the field, but ineffective in file circle.
