PETROLEUM.
At the No. 3 bore of the Taranaki Petroleum Company yesterday drilling was continued to a depth of 2107 feet, and oil is still being obtained. The stuff now coining-up is darker in color than the samples taken (luring the past few ilays, being greener and more like that obtained at the No. 1 and No. 2 wells.
