A MAN POISONED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Saturday. At an inquest to-day concerning th» death of Vincent Ferrar, who died from drinking lysol, a witness, an Italian, who bad resided in Auckland, where bis wife is a doctor, said he had asked deceased before he died if he had swallowed lysol, and the answer was "Yes, I did." A verdict was returned that deceased died from the effects of poison, but then w»» not sufficient evidence to show whether' it was taken accidentally or intentionally; the coroner having come to that ' conclusion owing to the fact that a small flask of whisky was found in o» on a chest of drawers with a bottle of lysol.

SUICIDE AT ELTHAM.
