XEW PLYMOUTH CLUB. The Xew Plymouth Homing Pigeon Club opened its season 011 Thursday with a flock race from Wavcrley. Two hampers containing 110 birds wer<. forwarded to the stationmaster for liberation at 11.31) a.m. The wentner conditions were slightly against the liird< but very fair time v.as recorded. The winner covered a distance of 58 miles, air line niea-iuremeiit, in llir. -Kliuiu. Following was the result:—Y. 11. EAST EXD CLCii. The X.ow Plymouth East Flying Club held a race from Aramoho, a distance of 80 miles air-lino, on Thursday. A strong norLh-enst wind prevailed, which prevented a high velocity being recorded, although the birds homed well. Fil'lvtwo birds, representing nine lofts, competed in the event, the winner putting up a velocity of !).">2 yards per minute.
