There were also present: Mesdames Doekrill and Grrnit, Miss Hempton, Messrs. ivicGahcy, W. W. Smith, ,T. Paton, S. W. Shan-, A. Hooker, G. W. Browne, F. Gootlacre, 15. W. Grijths. W. Kendall, and E. Allen. 'Apologies' were received from Messrs Dtiniiscv and Sandforil, Mrs. McKcTlar v.nd -Miss Smith. Mr. Paton moved and Mr. Smith secended that a sub-committee of five be appointed 'to attend to the canvassing for special prizes for the rose show, the ; ' printing of'the schedule and allotment , 'of special prizes. The following were '■• . appointed: 'Messrs. Tisch, Paton, Mc- ■ Gahef and Browne, and Mrs. Doekrill.
