The magic hill is a panorama of icicled beauty enveloping witches, demons, fairies, gnomes, and mortals alike. The spell is broken, and instantly winter vanishes and summer reigns, clothing the landscape in a floral robo of richlyvaried color, and so on through the evening, surprise follows surprise, Spectacle surpasses spectacle, until the whole merry story culminates in a perfect .blaze* of glory in the Palace of Precious Stones with the Grand March of the Jewels."
