LONDON MARKETS. London, August 20. Wheat.—l'he markets are steadier, but lluctuate with tile weather. Car-' goes ur t . well held, but there is little inquiry; -12s (id and 4;is are asked for Australian cargoes alloat; 80s for new crop, Deci'inebr-January shipment; 42s and 42s 3d have been paid for parcels arrived. ■Flour.—Dull trade at late rates. Oats.—(Juiet. New Zealand, ex ship, 22s to 22s (id; La Plata, just shipped, Kis (id, Meat.—ln accordance with the cablegram of June 4 the underwriters generally have raised the premium on Australian meat by 7s (id to 10s. _ Butter.—The market is steady; Danish has been raised from 114s to litis. A few colonials are selling, ex store at about 100s to 104s.

Tallow.—Since our wire are 3d and (id lower. There is more disposition to do business at the decline.
Frozen Meat.—Beef market firm but prices unchanged. llutton.—Any change in prices is in favour of sellers, but prices are not likely to advance materially in view of the cheapness of lamb.
