SEARCH ABANDONED. By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright Capetown, August 21. ( It is officially announced at Capetown that the Government and Admiralty have abandoned the search for the Waratah. PROBABLY PICKED UP. Received 22, 5.5 p.m. „„ London, August 21. Ihc steamer -Madagascar, for East London, it is suggested, is probably assisting the Waratah. as she would cross the current wherein the Waratah would probably be drifting.
