Renter's Ottawa correspondent states .the report that Canada lias withdrawn that official confirmation is lacking to from the proposed Imperial Conference respecting cheaper cable services in the Empire. Canada's desire for delay is due to the difficulty of reaching an agreement with the land companies. A Commission is about to investigate the tolls charged by the companies.
