By Telegraph.—Press Association. ClirisU'hurch, Last Niglit. Frederick Marshall, the defaulting secretary of the United Farmers' Coal Co., was sentenced to a year's imprisonment. Frederick William Dennett and Geo. Nottingham were acquitted on a cha-ge of assault and robbery. On a charge of burglary, to which they pleaded guilty, accused were sentenced to three years' imprisonment, anil each declared an habitual offender. Hans Shaw was convicted of pcrjurv, and sentence was deferred. ' *
WELLINGTON SESSIONS. Wellington, Last Night. At the Supreme Court to-day, Harrv Lee was found not guilty"of breaking into the house of a Chinaman i n Ham" mg street, Wellington, with intent to commit a crime. William Brown and Richard McCann were convicted 'of assaulting a nun named Mahon and robbing him of ,-Cl, Brown'was sentenced to 15 months' and MoCann to nine months' imprisonment.
