THE ROSAMOND. The Rosamond arrived here from Onehunga yesterday morning and left later on ior Nelson and Wellington. Her southern cargo, which he had to carry on on Sunday morning, and which was discharged yesterday, included transhipments ex Bantu (from New York), Athcnic (from London), Ulimaroa (from Sydney), Moana (from Melbourne), lianowna (from Adelaide), and Satia. ANOTHER SHIPPING COMPANY. The proposal by Palmers'ton business men. to form a shipping company is now materialising. Provisional directors have been appointed and the prospectus of the new company has been published. The capital is to fce £20,000, divided into 20,000 £1 shares. It is proposed to «rect a, wharf and storage at Foxton and at other ports) where thought advisable, and to purchase a suitable steamer or steamers (to carry 300 tons on an Bft draught). Falvey, of Wellington, who invented a reversible steam turbine, has succeeded in forming the Falvey Turbine Company in London, with a capital of £SOOO, to work his invention. At Wellington the vessel will discharge 070 tons, of which 74 tons are for transhipment. At Dunedin the Clara will unload 853 tons of cargo. The Clara is an iron barque of 823 tons gross and SG3 net.
