THE TIMARU MEETING. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Wellington centre of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association has decided to send the following team to Timaru to compete in the "crosscountry championships on September !)th:-F. Wilton. F. Hodson, W. li. Bennett, C. Rowberrv and W. Press. All ihe members of the team belong to the Wellington Harriers, who nominated them.

Considerable- interest is being taken locally in the Australasian athletic championship meeting, which opens in Brisbane to-day. New Zealand at present holds the championship, and his a team to defend its' laurels. Despite the-fact that the full team has not been able to get afcay, the Dominion's representatives may be expected to do her credit.
