I LADIES' TOURNAMENT. By Telegraph.—Press Association. I'almerston N., Last Night. Though it is now fine, very heavy in- . termittent rains fell throughout yesterday and to-day and led to the consideration of the postponement of the ladies' golf championships. It was finally decided to leave the matter to be decided at six o'clock to-morrow morning. From the past rains part of the course had been ltuuer water. The Hokowhitu links arc sandy golf country which drbs quickly, and though* there is a good deal of water here and there, should it continue fine there will be nothin" to prevent play.
