The Ambassadors presented the Porte with a collective Note intimating that the Powers decided to suppress the International Financial Coaimisgion in Macedonia. • The Porte received the communication with great satisfaction. The member* uf the Commission enter Turkey's service for re-organising the Empire's genoral finances. The Note is considered significant at the present juncture when the Powers arc striving to prevent a disturbance b the Near East.
