AMUSEMENTS.
THE RIRORIROS. The Riroriros suffered from the prevailing bad weather for their entertainment at the Theatre Roval last evening, with the result that there was only a sparse attendance. The Taranaki Garrison Band assembled outside the theatre and played a couple of excellent nuHibers. During the evening Adjutant Dawkins, of the local corps, thanked the Band for their kindness. ' The entertainment was varied and clever. The youngsters have been well trained by Brigadier Holdaway and entered into their work with a vim that was refreshing to See. In their action and descriptive songs the performers, ranging from about 3 to about 11 years, made a splendid showing, the audience Siring each item a deserved round of applause. Brigadier lloldaway and Adjutant Crawford played very pretty selections o n a number of glasses. Item's* on the handbells and chiming bells were also given with pleasing effect. The whole performance was decMcdly creditable, and the Riroriros fully sustained the excellent reputation that had preceded them,
