ACTION FOR SLANDER. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auekand, Last Night. In the Supreme Court to-day the action brought by Dr. A. H. Hallem against Samuel Crawford, chairman of the Te Puke Road Hoard, and a member of the Taiirangi Comity Council, for slander, was concluded. The jury awardid plaintiff £SO.
