Cnristeasen asking for permission to open up drain in Blake-street and couuect same with Stail'ord-street drain; also asking for a subsidy towards the cost.
Messrs, Thomas Borthwick and Son wrote asking permission to open up ?(1' 1 is It-r the jiurjjo-se of laying new pipes from their iV'lhnongering, freezing, and canning works. ihe Department of Lands and Survey wrote stating that all fencing in eonsection with the soldiers' cemetery had been completed, and asking the Council to now take steps to make the place presentable.
