FIRES.
By Telegraph,—Press Association. Christchurch. Lust .Night. By a lire in the nursery of a seve 1teen roomed house at Sumner this morning damage, estimated at £2OO, was done. The outbreak was caused by clothes airing in front of the fire getting alight. Fortunately the infant had been removed from tile nursery to the adjoining room when th e parents went downstairs for breakfast.
