The exports of the principal products from the port of Wellington for the month of July were of the following values in comparison with the values of July, 1908: Butter—l9o9, £5767; 1908, £7152. Cheese, £l2l and £l6B. Beef, £12,605 and £3,375. Mutton, £.13,109 and £17,002; mutton legs, etc., £586 and £1,943. Lamb, £12,654 and £7,331. Hemp, £13,321 and £11,084. Tow, £353 and £609. Grain and pulse, none and £7O. Hides, £7,991 and £4,102. Skins, £7,532 and £2,786. Tallow, £12,336 and £5,855. - Timber, none and £lO. Wool, £29,615 and £9,715.
