A scientific expedition under Professor Puellebron has returned to Hong Kong after spending nearly a year in the Bismarck Archipelago, ftt secured large quantities of animal, insect, and other specimens, many of which are claimed to he new to scientists. The expedition had considerable trouble with hostile natives, but returned without the loaa of a single member.
