REVIEW OF THE FLEET. By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright London, August 1. Mr. Asquith gave a garden party on Friday in honor of the delegates to the Defence Conference and their wives. The delegates yesterdav witnessed a review of the fleet in the Solent. Admiralty, memliers of Parliament, mm u number of special guests. Tlie influx of visitors to Portsmouth and Cowes was tlie largest since the Jubilee review. The Government bnnquetted all the delegates at the Foreign Office. Tliv I banquet was followed by a reception.
